Chief Technology Officer

During the early years of his career Mathew was working in London in enterprise software. From which he shifted Philips Semiconductors where he played a key role in marketing their embedded software for mobile phones. He then moved on to NXP, where he led a software technology development group focused on the then emerging technology of Near Field Communication, NFC Sim cards and embedded secure elements for mobile phones. He was then at Gemalto in Strategy Partnerships and Operations with a focus on Trusted Service Management/ TSM for NFC related Services, Mifare Desfire, EMV/ Payments, Loyalty, Vouchers and Coupons.

As the CTO of Silverleap, Mathew plays a vital role in patenting Silverleap products and heading our product and services road map.

He has a range of skills and specialties which includes: Hi-Tech Strategy & Deployment, Contactless Technology, Mobile Devices, Smartcards, Web Services Cloud Computing, and Enterprise BPM.

Mathew has an MBA focusing on Hi Tech Marketing from the Theseus International Management Institute (now EDHEC) in France, a MSc in Business Systems Analysis & Design from City University London, and a BA in Chemical Physics from the University of Kent in the UK.

He lives in France with his wife, and has an active blog site that elaborates on Android phones, which can support HCE technology, and how the Hong Kong Octopus card was able to develop far further than the UK Oyster version.
